The original patent for the modern bellows design used in an industrial application was lodged by Teddington Bellows in 1928. Hence, Teddington was the original inventor and developer of bellows. These were used in aircraft temperature control systems from before WWII. Teddington continues to manufacture for aerospace to this day.
CAPABILITIES-CERTIFICATION RELATING TO LNG
Type approvals with all major insurance bodies for Bellows Type Test operating at 2,000,000 cycles at ambient and 8,000 cycles at cryogenic temperatures.
GTT Approval Certificate for the supply of bellows expansion joints for use in LNG carriers built under GTT license.
